Fast Track 1: Mathematics Workbook

Year 9 Workbook for Able Students: Fast Track 1 replaces Towards Excellence 1. Fast Track 1 is written for able Year 9 students and is written for the new New Zealand Curriculum. Chapters are grouped under the three strands of the curriculum. (Number and Algebra, Geometry and Measurement and Statistics). Fast Track 1 features a large number of practice questions, explanations, worked examples and a set of removeable answers. Pages are perforated for ease of marking. Fast Track 1 revises Level 4 and starts Level 5 of the New Zealand Mathematics and Statistics Curriculum. The statistics chapter is based on the statistical enquiry cycle. Numeracy strategies are selected from the Advanced Multiplicative and Proportional stages of the Secondary Numeracy Project.
