Year 9 Workbook for Able Students: Fast Track 1 replaces Towards Excellence 1. Fast Track 1 is written for able Year 9 students and is written for the new New Zealand Curriculum. Chapters are grouped under the three strands of the curriculum. (Number and Algebra, Geometry and Measurement and Statistics). Fast Track 1 features a large number of practice questions, explanations, worked examples and a set of removeable answers. Pages are perforated for ease of marking. Fast Track 1 revises Level 4 and starts Level 5 of the New Zealand Mathematics and Statistics Curriculum. The statistics chapter is based on the statistical enquiry cycle.
